Sophisticated Branding demands an integration
of colour, font and layout achieved within the constraints of the operating systems
facilities. This will generally require input from a graphic designer with
significant experience of screen interface design.
For
what became the Reuters 3000 product, the design brief was to achieve a look and
feel that was Microsoft compliant, yet had a distinctive look of its own. This
prototype design underwent a number of evolutionary changes before launch. This was
designed to run in a Windows 3.1 environment, which limited the colour set to the basic 16
MSDOS colours. |
